KOSADATA – Anggota Komisi VII DPR RI, Mulyanto, menyebut kebijakan Pemerintah menghapus golongan daya pelanggan listrik 450 VA tidak berperasaan dan terburu-buru.
Ia minta Pemerintah cermat dan komprehensif mengatasi surplus listrik (over suplly) PLN. Jangan sampai rakyat dikorbankan dengan menghapus daya pelanggan 450 VA.
“Jangan sampai kesalahan Pemerintah merencanaan kebutuhan listrik ditimpakan kepada rakyat kecil. Ini tidak adil. Apalagi saat ini masyarakat sedang sulit, karena pandemi Covid-19 yang belum usai, kenaikan harga BBM, serta kenaikan harga bahan makanan,” ujar Mulyanto dalam keterangan tertulis, Rabu (14/9/2022).
“Apa pemerintah sudah tidak mampu lagi renegosiasi dengan pihak pembangkit listrik swasta (IPP) untuk mengerem tambahan pembangkit baru dalam upaya menekan surplus listrik ini?” tanya Mulyanto.
Begitu juga terkait introduksi listrik dari sumber EB-ET (energi baru-dan energi terbarukan), menurut Mulyanto Pemerintah jangan tergopoh-gopoh dan manut saja didikte oleh pihak internasional. Lalu ujung-ujungnya yang dikorbankan adalah rakyat dengan meningkatnya tarif listrik.
Mulyanto mendesak, kalau pun Pemerintah akan menghapus pelanggan listrik berdaya 450 VA dan mengalihkannya ke daya 900 VA, maka ia meminta agar subsidi listrik tetap diberikan.
“Jangan subsidinya ikut dihapus. Ini akan memberatkan rakyat,” katanya.
“Kemudian perpindahan daya listrik PLN dari 450 VA ke 900 VA tersebut diberikan secara gratis tanpa dipungut biaya apapun,” imbuh politisi yang biasa disapa Pak Mul ini.
Mulyanto meminta Pemerintah konsultasi dahulu dengan Komisi VII DPR RI, yang menangani masalah energi ini, sebelum mengambil kebijakan terkait listrik, yang berdampak luas bagi masyarakat. Kalau caranya seperti ini, sudah melanggar pakem ketatanegaraan kita.
“Komisi VII DPR RI dalam waktu dekat akan memanggil pihak terkait meminta keterangan soal ini,” terang Mulyanto.
Diinformasikan Pemerintah berencana menghapus penggunaan listrik 450 VA dalam rangka menyerap listrik milik PT PLN (Persero) yang saat ini sedang mengalami over suplai.
PLN tengah mengalami over suplai listrik sebanyak 6 Giga Watt (GW) saat ini. Tahun depan akan ada pembangkit listrik baru yang akan beroperasi dan mengakibatkan adanya tambahan over suplai sebesar 1,4 GW menjadi 7,4 GW.
Belum lagi, pemerintah sedang menggemborkan produksi listrik dari Energi Baru dan Energi Terbarukan. Listrik EBET akan masuk di tahun 2030. Bila ini terjadi, maka diperkirakan over suplai listrik yang dihadapi oleh PLN akan semakin membengkak menjadi 41 GW
